8 ohm stereo, 450 Watts max. ideal for Keyboard Synth players, small acts with 1 - 4 mics, etc.. Includes 3 boxes, the floor box has 6 drivers: (2)15” woofers, (2) 1” silk dome tweeters, and (2) 3/4” hypercardiode horn tweeters. The 2 pole speakers are Insignia solid hardwood boxes with 5.5\\\" ported woven Kevlar drivers. full-way or mid-range, depending on where you plug them into the floor box. ( through crossover or not). Includes pole stands, cables. This three-piece stereo speaker system was designed to fit on a small stage, provide a solid place to sit while playing keyboard, and pack a whopping 350 Watts of RMS power, with virtually no distortion. It includes two 15\\\" woofers, four mini-horn tweeters, and two mid-range satellite speakers on poles. These last can be placed either on the included poles that stick right into the bass speaker cabinet, or on separate pole stands ( one included). I always had at least one next to me, on a pole stuck into the bass cabinet, so I only have one stand-alone speaker pole. The most amazing thing is that the bass speaker cabinet weighs only about 75 pounds ! It is perfect for keyboard players, especially for those who play left hand bass on their keyboard, as it gives the low-end clarity of a bass amp, yet the mids of the right hand piano are also quite clear, coming from the satellite speakers and the tweeters. I have run the keyboard as a split: bass guitar and grand piano, plus run two mics with vocals through the system at the same time, and people say it sounds like HI-FI- real instruments and great vocal reproduction, and all this in STEREO ( gets great stereo keyboard effects) ! USE IT AS A SEAT or a Podium to stand on! - I personally always hated sitting on little folding seats that wobble around, and don\\\'t let you slide sideways to accommodate playing very high or low on the keyboard, like a piano bench does. So this speaker cabinet gave me that dual function back, without making me carry another large item ( Bench) in my car. It is a little bit on the low side, for those with shorter legs, but if you aren\\\'t 6 feet tall like I am, or if you put a briefcase or the Power amp on top of it and sit on that, then it\\\'s perfect height. This whole system plus my keyboard and other stage gear all fits nicely in the back of even the smallest station wagon- like my Ford Escort. CROSSOVER INSIDE! The cross-over is the secret: it is a second-order butterworth circuit using only monstrous 14-gauge coils and huge paper capacitors, so there is plenty of copper and capacitance area for the sound to move freely through. With eight of these coils, the cross-over barely fits inside the cabinet ! The parts alone cost over $125. All hand-soldered, it should give many years of reliable service. STEREO FIELD: The beveled front of the cabinet causes a nice spread of sound, while keeping it forward towards the audience, and helps maintain a stereo field, for those great stereo effects that keyboards these days are endowed with. It is a custom design, one-of-a-kind, and it has only had a few gigs worth of use. Having the satellite speaker up next to my head meant I could always hear myself clearly, without the bass right in my ears, which would block out my ability to hear the bass player or drummer. I often put the other Satellite speaker right behind the drummer and bass player, so they could hear me well too. This design came from years of suffering on stage not being able to hear both myself and my other rhythm section partners. It works like a charm. If only I could move it to Brazil, where I am moving, for less shipping cost than it cost to buy something down there...MONITORING: There are two extra jacks so that even more speakers can be attached, for instance to a stage monitor system. Or you could plug in the satellites to these external jacks, using them as full range speakers instead of mid-range, placing them on the floor as monitors (they handle 100 Watts each). But this would give you the keyboard player an unbalanced sound from where you sit: mostly lows and highs. FLEXIBILITY: the amazing flexibility of this system means that A) one person can load/ unload it and set it upB) It can work in any size room ( being a monitor in large venues with their own PA)it can allow a keyboard player to lead the band, because strategic placement of the satellites means that everyone can hear your keys ( and vocals!) I am only selling it because I am moving to Brazil and I need all the cash I can get to get established over there. Add a small mixer ( I may have one still listed under my seller name! ) and a power amp, and you have a stage system that you can be proud of. I can deliver it in the greater SF bay area for $25. I could potentially ship it, but UPS won\'t take it, so Fed Ex- you would have to pay the shipping cost.
