A Handcrafted Masterpiece from Mr. TANAKA (Owner of the Altus Flutes Co.) former known as TAKUMI

This Headjoint has been extensively played during my Studies. My teacher Jean. P. Rampal played several times and loved it especially on his Bach recitals.

I played most Orchestra Repertoire.. on it with a lot of joy together with Best European Orchestras.

011 - .012 tubing thickness, it will fit in any gold or silver flute.

A gorgeous, huge sound, with stunning projection.

Rapid articulation, fantastic legato, a soulful, beautiful inherent vibrato...it seems there is nothing it cannot do.
