It was orginally purchased from White Bros Music for $4,000. I compared the sound quality of this instrument with many others in a similar price range before selecting this special viola. This viola has a very deep, rich sound and the quality has only improved with age. I originally bought it for use in my high school and college orchestra. However, after one year of college orchestra, I was unable to continue. I hope to find a new home for this instrument where it will be played and enjoyed to its full potential.
